3 Levels of Custom Engineering

Level I - Custom Modifications

Level I special modifications that can be made to products taken directly from OMEGA's handbooks. Simple part number changes and prefixes allow you to easily order modifications such as: non-standard lengths and diameters, special terminations, industrial constructions, high temperature assemblies, spring loading, special bends, PFA coating, and much, much more. For your convenience, these variations can be simply ordered by a phone call to any member of our knowledgeable sales staff.

Level II - New Product Design

Level II custom products are designed and manufactured according to your unique specifications and are not necessarily based on standard handbook products. These products are usually more complex than Level I, and often require additional engineering and manufacturing attention. Level II equipment deals with custom electronic devices built into a system (i.e., meters, controllers, switches, relays and connectors mounted in various NEMA rated enclosures), portable systems (i.e. pressure transducers, meters and power supplies configured in a carrying case) and exotic customer supplied materials which are used in the final fabrication of a unique product.

Level III - Complete Systems Engineering

Level III are more sophisticated custom designs which involve comprehensive instrumentation and entire computerised control systems.
