The OMEGA CIO-DAC02 and CIO-DAC02-16 are a versatile series of 2-channel analog output plug-in cards with ranges of 0 to 2.5, 0 to 5, 0 to 10, ±2.5, ±5 and ±10 V for the 16-bit CIO-DAC02-16, and 0 to 5, 0 to 10, ±5, ±10 V and 4 to 20 mA for the 12-bit CIO-DAC02. They are available with a 12- or 16-bit resolution digital-to-analog (D/A) converter. A precision D/A converter controls each analog output. A 12-bit converter provides 1/4096 parts resolution and a 16-bit converter provides 1/65,536 parts resolution. On a scale of 0 to 5 V, the output can be controlled to within 2.54 mV by the 12-bit converter or 0.0762 mV by the 16-bit converter. The D/A converter's output range is controlled by setting jumpers on the board and by providing external reference voltages.
