The OMB-DAQBOOK-260 is an enhanced version of the OMB-DAQBOOK-200 data acquisition system for notebook and desktop PC’s. This model features enhanced analog input connectivity via eight different types of termination panels that slide into internal drawers inside the OMB-DAQBOOK-260. The termination panels accept OMB-DBK expansion cards (see Section H for details on the wide selection of expansion cards that are available). The OMB-DAQBOOK-260’s 16-bit, 100 kHz A/D includes 16 built-in analog channels, plus analog expansion capability for up to three optional internal signal conditioning and expansion cards which fit into the termination panels offered. You can select from over 20 OMB-DBK expansion cards that fit into the terminal panels. OMB-DBK expansion cards are available for a wide variety of measurements including thermocouple, RTD, strain gage, accelerometer, pressure transducer, and much more (see Section H). Further analog expansion can be achieved by attaching an OMB-DBK60 expansion card enclosure to the analog input port (P1 port) of the OMB-DAQBOOK-260. The OMB-DBK60 is the same size as the OMB-DAQBOOK-260 and can house up to three additional termination panels and accompanying expansion cards. The OMB-DAQBOOK-260 also includes the additional I/O capability of the OMB-DAQBOOK-200, including 24 digital I/O lines, 16 high-speed digital input lines, five programmable 16-bit counter/timers and two 12-bit analog outputs. Digital I/O is accessible through the OMB-DAQBOOK- 260’s digital I/O port (P2 port). High speed digital inputs and counter/timers are accessible through the high-speed digital I/O port (P3 port). Note that the internal drawers and termination panels in the OMB-DAQBOOK- 260 are only used for enhanced analog input connectivity and expansion. Digital I/O expansion can be done by attaching OMB-DBK digital I/O expansion cards via ribbon cable to the P2 digital I/O port of the OMB-DAQBOOK-260. Digital I/O expansion cards can be housed in the conventional OMB-DBK10 three-slot expansion card enclosure (refer to the OMB-DAQBOOK-200 for more details).
